2020 Connector Program
Over the years, CoCo has provided access to our trauma-informed training weekend through full and partial scholarships. As we continue to evolve, we want to find passionate volunteers who will help establish a strong body of volunteers after our training weekend.
We are excited to share our new “Connector Program” which creates the opportunity for you to serve as a market ambassador in your local city. There are perks to this program, including the chance to receive full tuition to our15-hour trauma-informed volunteer certification. Our referral program awards individuals who have a true desire to bring yoga to youth in marginalized communities. Applicants can be yoga teachers ready to step out into community, or community members such as educators, caseworkers, mental health professional and more.
How it works:
Our prerequisites to being a CoCo Connector are:
Have a passion for grassroots outreach and a desire to serve as a volunteer in your local community.
Approx. 2-3 hr. weekly to dedicate to sharing the word about upcoming CoCo Training
Active social media accounts including Facebook + Instagram, plus be following @connectioncoalition on all networks
$50 Investment into Connector Media Kit: This kit includes CoCo t-shirt, postcards, flyers, and other collateral materials for in-market promotion.
Please note: We accept market ambassadors on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you do not see any current openings in your city, this means our ambassador team is currently full. Please do not email the team to inquire about additional ambassadors, as they will be made available on site.
How to Apply:
Read all the instructions before applying. This will reduce any errors in processing your application and streamline the onboarding process.
Select your requested city and fill out the short application + process your checkout for Connector Media Kit. ($50 due at time of application)
Once you’ve submitted your application, our Brand + Social Impact team will review and reach out with onboarding instructions.
Get out into the community! From your onboarding date, you’ll have until (2) weeks before the training dates to reach out to friends, family, and community as a CoCo Connector. When someone registers, they will need to list you as a referral in order for you to be credited for that registration. You will receive a $50 referral credit for each student you register.
(Please note, this credit is only applied to the approved training you are an ambassador for. This credit for training only and has no cash value. Full ambassadorship details will be provided at onboarding.)
Register for Training! We will send you a registration link and code to sign-up for training. You’ll receive discounted tuition based on then number of people referred to the training.
